BandSplitter

BandSplitter Device

Essentials

BandSplitter splits a signal into Low, Mid, and High bands with independent outputs for multi-band processing, routing, and level control. Use it to process different frequency ranges separately (like compressing only the low end or adding effects only to highs), or route bands to different destinations.

  • Three-band frequency splitting (Low/Mid/High)

  • Independent outputs per band

  • Multi-band processing and routing

  • Level control per band

  • Process different frequency ranges separately

Split

BandSplitter Split Controls

Frequency High

Sets the frequency at which the signal is split between high and mid frequencies

Frequency Low

Sets the frequency at which the signal is split between low and mid frequencies

Gain

BandSplitter Gain Controls

High Gain

Volume increase/decrease for high frequencies (trebles and brilliance)

Mid Gain

Volume increase/decrease for mid frequencies (vocals, snares, etc.)

Low Gain

Volume increase/decrease for low frequencies (bass and sub-bass)

Practical Tips

Practical Tips

  • Apply reverb only to the highs.

  • Distort the low end while leaving the rest clean.

  • Balance frequency regions independently.
